Beagle Zernike
Just a block away from Beagle Darwin, v.o.f. The Beagle is building Beagle
Zernike. The building will provide 3.000 m² of laboratory space and 1.000 m² of
office space, available in units of 500 m². Construction work is to be completed
by the end of 2009.

Beagle Zernike has a sophisticated design and a timeless appeal.

four-story building will include a central section, to house the common areas
such as the reception, stairs and elevators, and 4.000 m² of laboratory and
office space. Each floor will contain standard facilities, which can be extended
dependant of the use required. The ground floor also offers the possibility of
meeting rooms and a restaurant. Ample parking space will be available.

Zernike
Frederik Zernike (1888-1966) was a Dutch physicist. In 1953 he won the Nobel
prize for physics for his invention of the phase contrast microscope, an instrument that permits the study of internal cell structure without the need to
stain and thus kill the cells.
